Simple Table Setting Ideas For Valentine’s Day

Are you planning to stay in for Valentine’s Day? Whether you are celebrating with friends or a significant other, take time to set the table for the evening. Make it a special event!

Tips for setting a Valentine’s Day dinner table on the fly:

  • Use Candles: Here’s the no brainer. Candles create an intimate setting for dinner no matter if you are with friends or your significant other.
  • Create a Centerpiece: Pick up some fresh flowers in your favorite colors on your way home from work and put them in a vase to create a centerpiece for the evening.
  • Set the Table: By this I mean, go all out! Use placemats, napkins, wine glasses, salad bowls – whatever you have to maximize the visual impact.
  • Use Accessories: If you want to really to go all out, cut out hearts with red or pink paper and sprinkle them on your table. For a more subtle look, find pretty napkin holders or tie pink/red ribbon to each wine glass.
