This Friday, is the Grand Opening Celebration for Atlanta’s fabulous fitness community. This is a night featuring the newest products from lululemon, a company founded by Chip Wilson. Who spent 20 years in the surf, skate, and snowboard business, when he discovered the exhilaration of yoga. Chip found the typical cotton yoga clothing available was completely inappropriate. He drew on his passion for technical athletic fabrics, and created an underground yoga clothing movement. Originally named Athletically Hip, in 2000 he opened his first lululemon store in Vancouver. After much success, the company has opened stores throughout the world from New Zealand, to the United Kingdom, Australia and beyond. (also sold in Yoga and Pilates Studios) Now, we have a new store opening at the Shops around Lenox.
The Grand Opening festivities will begin at 7:00pm, with a function show (in true lululemon style this is not your typical fashion show) at 7:30pm. This is a red carpet event for you to dress in your best from sneakers to stilettos or anything in between. You will enjoy tempting treats, drinks, a funky DJ and photo ops.
