Local Fashion Designer: Jules Reid

One of my favourite local designers is Virginia resident Jules Reid.  Gaining inspiration from Emilio Pucci and David Hicks, with courageous use of graphic patterns and color, Jules Reid’s line of flirty dresses and modern tunics reflect her personal style, with unabashedly bold patterns and feminine twists.  Perfect for The Hamptons, Palm Beach, and of course Rehoboth.  Start planning ladies!

To help with the planning, Jules Reid is offering an incredible on-line sale, with savings of 40-50% off retail.  I’ve got my eye on the Pink Sands Opera Coat in Pink Tiger or the McPherson Dress in Metallic Floral – can anyone say Corcoran Ball?!

I’m also in love with the Beatrice Dress in SAI; it would have been perfect for my recent trip to the Dominican.

Can’t find your size on-line?  Be sure to visit Sherman Pickey in Georgetown, Hysteria in Old Town Alexandria, or Persnickety Palm in Leesburg for that ultimate find for your next event.

Jules’ 2011 line is due out mid-February – I can’t wait!
