Miss A’s Fave: Chanel’s LÈVRES SCINTILLANTES Lip Gloss

Some women have a weakness for shoes. Other women have a weakness for handbags. I have a weakness for lip gloss, and have tried every major brand of lip gloss out there.  I have become a bit of a lip gloss connoisseur, so I wanted to share my all time personal favorite with my readers — Chanel’s LÈVRES SCINTILLANTES!

They come in a wide range of colors from the perfect nude, to pretty pinks, and rich reds. The colors are multi-dimensional with just the right amount of shimmer and shine. A woman of a certain age shouldn’t have overly glossy, frosted, or sparkly lips. I love that the color actually shows up, and isn’t sheer. The lip gloss doesn’t feel sticky, or thick, and they are very long lasting.

I was very upset when my favorite shade of pink – Soda – was discontinued. I found it on Ebay and bought the last 5 I could find, but sadly I am on my last one. I found that Pink Tease (#142) is a good alternative to Soda. My other favorites include:  Giggle and Unity are great nudes, Pagoda is a great darker nude, Blizzard has a touch of frost which I adore when wearing pastels.

If you haven’t tried these, I highly recommend them. They may be a bit more expensive than other brands, but definitely worth it! If you’re already a fan, comment below and tell me your favorite shades!
