Roma Provisions, a company based out of Dallas, Texas, gives back to children in need with every pair of boots they sell through their “one on one” concept. Their rain boots, made with a classic natural rubber sole and cotton lining are currently available in glossy plum or navy, matte taupe, brown, or grey in women’s whole sizes six through nine. The boots can be purchased through the company’s website and in their Texas boutiquettes for $78.00 a pair.
Roma boots are utilitarian, made to withstand rain, snow, and mud, while being more fashionable than the run-of-the-mill work boot. They are not the most fashion-forward design, but it’s the humanitarian effort of Roma that makes the loudest statement. The company’s mission is “selling boots to the fortunate, giving boots to the unfortunate.” For every pair of boots purchased, a pair is donated to a child in Central/Eastern Europe, a region near and dear to the heart of Roma’s owner Samuel Bistrian who immigrated to America from Romania as a child. Roma Provisions also accepts donations for their cause online.
