Laura Swanstrom Reece is a sixteen-year resident of the Washington Metropolitan area, she is a philanthropist and fundraiser at heart. With experience in corporate and grass-roots fundraising, event production on an Olympic scale, and volunteer management, this entrepreneur and member of The Washington Ballet Women's Committee is passionate about supporting the arts and other non-profit organizations that work tirelessly to make change in our nation's capital and beyond.

Paint the Town Red with the American Heart Association at L2 Lounge

The American Heart Association, co-chairs Jena Belinkie and Jennifer Kirstein Czekaj, and PULSE cordially invite you to “Paint the Town Red” on Wednesday, November 17 at L2 Lounge in Georgetown.  Wear your best red tie cocktail attire and enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres, music, dancing, and a spectacular auction.

PULSE is a group of local young professionals in the Washington metropolitan area who work to build a strong beat of commitment to heart health in the next generation of community leaders.  It’s your friends and coworkers gathering to educate, inspire and develop the habit of philanthropy dedicated to changing the health of a new generation.  Making it so that the next one won’t have to fight the same battle.

PULSE is all about prevention.  It’s about staying strong, being steady, growing powerful in the fight to eliminate deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.  The people of PULSE know that the best results, the biggest breakthroughs, and the most fun come from working together.
