Miss A’s Fave: Giorgio Armani Sheer Bronzer #1

A few months ago, I shared my love of Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush #10 and adjustments women need to make as they approach the big 4-0. One piece of advice I had for blondes is to stop with all the tanning. Some women I see in their 40′s, 50′s and 60′s are doing it ALL – laying out, tanning beds, spray tans, and self-tanners. They just need to stop. The “Malibu Barbie” look while great in your teens and 20′s does NOT age very well!

Look instead to what blondes like Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Gweyneth Paltrow, and Scarlett Johansson are doing. They leave the tan look to Paris Hilton, and Pamela Anderson. With this premise in mind, I avoid all thing oompa loompa orange. I don’t lay out as I’m all about avoid sun damage, and I don’t like the tan look so I avoid the spray tans and self-tanners.

I thought my days of wearing bronzer were over until earlier this summer when I discovered Armani Sheer Bronzer #1. Although Makeup Artist, Giannina Davis at Saks Fifth Avenue in Chevy Chase has used this on me before for special events, I never really paid attention to it. It has no orange in it at all, so it gives a warm sun-kissed glow with out the fake oompa loompa orange tone which looks so unnatural on pale skin tones like mine. I highly recommend that you stop by an Armani beauty counter near you and check out this product for yourself!
