A few weeks ago, a gorgeous pink and tangerine invitation arrived in the mail – Hitched Maids has Hatched!, it announced. So last night, I attended the opening of Hitched Maids, the much-anticipated bridesmaid dress shop by the purveyors of our favorite Georgetown bridal salon, Hitched. 
Up one flight of stairs from the Wisconsin Avenue shop is a beautifully appointed atelier, detailed in crisp white and showcasing well-tailored dresses from Amsale, Anna Elyse, Jenny Yoo, Simple Silhouettes, Lela Rose, and Thread in every color of the rainbow. Some frocks, I would say, should not just be reserved for the bridal party, but would be appropriate for any special occasion, and we all know that DC has plenty of those! Chances are, one step into this shop and you are bound to fall in love with a bridesmaid dress you can wear again and again and again. Happy shopping!
