Vogue’s September Issue Photo Shoot: T Minus 1 Day

With Guy Friday, Mike Carson at Leukemia & Lymphoma's Man & Woman of the Year Finale Gala on Saturday Night
Well, it’s 4am. I could barely sleep last night. I’m not sure if it’s from the excitement of my impending trip to New York, or if it’s because I slept on my sofa and gave my mother my bed. After seeing my photos from Saturday night’s Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year Finale Gala at the Ritz-Carlton, I think I may have lost too much weight for this photo shoot. My chin’s all pointy and I’ve developed sunken cheeks. I swear, it’s a Catch-22. You get your body the way you want it, and then your face goes to hell. You younger girls don’t have this problem as much since you haven’t lost facial volume….yet. As people lose weight, they lose fat – fat can mask wrinkles in the face. I was thinking I might need to eat some cheese burgers, but hate to ruin all the work I’ve done on my body. Rather than gain weight, I think I’ll add volume back to my face with Juvederm after NYC.
While tomorrow’s photo shoot is important because my photo and profile will reach the 13 million readers of Vogue’s September issue, and potentially readers of Glamour, W and Allure over the course of the 6 month ad campaign for a luxury beauty brand, today is also an important day. This afternoon, I have a meeting in Time Square with a major women’s brand. They have asked me to write for them on their website which reaches 2 million people each month. I look forward to meeting with them to find out more about this opportunity.
Most likely, I won’t be able to post over the next few days, but please follow me on Twitter and Facebook for updates as they happen!

I think you look fantastic! But I get Restlane myself and love it. Good luck!
