Fork and The Road: A Unique Chicago Dining Experience

As usual, I was browsing the internet, searching for a new way to entertain myself and I came across something so sui generis that I could not keep it to myself. A bicycling tour of Chicago’s eateries! Eeeeeek! To heck with the boring, traditional ways to dine. Check out Fork and the Road, an awesome food tour that allows you to make the most out of your dining experience. Now, you don’t need to feel guilty about all those carbs and calories. This dining experience offers a built-in fitness component. You eat, then bike to your next location. Eat again, and then bike again. Talk about guilt-free! Talk about bang for buck!

Fork and the Road offers a variety of foodie-themed tours, including Dumpling Derby for you vegans out there. The Blue Plate Special is a 4.5 hour, 16-20 mile tour that begins at the Coffee Bar, Intelligentsia Millennium Park. It continues with a stop for chili at an old diner. The highlight is a stop for fried chicken and biscuits at a historical restaurant that hosted leaders of the civil rights movement. Other tours offered are Go East!, International BBQ, Mediterranean Cruise and Sweet Home Chicago. Whose coming with me??
