Last night, the Principle Gallery in Old Town, Alexandria will have an opening featuring paintings by Andrei Petrov. I first saw Andrei’s work on the first season of NBC’s Apprentice. He tells me that it also happened to be the episode the Omarosa was fired. On that episode, two artist’s paintings were featured, one gallery event for each team; each team had to sell paintings and Andrei’s team won! I met Andrei several years ago at the Principle Gallery. My friend really liked his style of painting, which ended up taking us to visit in his studio in China Town. . .this was my first art consultation. . .it was very easy because Andrei’s work is so calming with wonderful layers of color and movement. Andrei’s work is also featured in the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown.
