Salahis on Inside Edition Tonight on Heels of Publicist Mahogany Jones Resignation

Mahogany Jones

Tareq and Michaele Salahi’s Publicist, Mahogany Jones has resigned. I think we saw this coming. I mean, who can blame her? Even Britney Spears post-head shaving would be an easier client than the unscrupulous Salahis. I’m guessing there is a book deal in her future. This was the email I received at 4:25pm this afternoon:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Publicist for the Salahis Resign
A Statement from Mahogany Jones
[Washington, DC | May 19, 2010]

Effective immediately, I will no longer represent Tareq and Michaele Salahi as their personal publicist and will no longer handle public relations efforts on their behalf.  To note; statements made to the press in the recent weeks by the Salahis were not directed by me or my staff.  I wish the couple the best and hope they are successful in all their endeavors.

Salahi’s Photoshopping Alledgedly Used to Crash President Obama’s Inauguration

It seems that the Salahis were out on the town last night for the Obama’s second White House State Dinner filming for tonight’s Inside Edition. This is part of the press tour for the upcoming Real Housewives of DC, which airs this summer. The Secret Service was on point this time around, and pulled over the couple’s limo and prevented it from pulling into a restricted area. I’m betting that this is the same white limousine left over from the couple’s failed Oasis Wine Tour business that the couple normally rolls around in. This is the same white limo which as you may recall their former driver, Greg Woodell claims that the Salahis covered with a very unofficial magnet which read “Official Inauguration Vehichle (sic)” to crash President Obama’s inauguration. I’m glad that the Secret Service is stepping it up.
The Salahis will likely be on Inside Edition tonight talking about there being a “witch hunt” again them. No, this isn’t a witch hunt. You people are casting spells. You are casting lies. This isn’t a witch hunt — more like a man hunt. I’m very glad that the State of Virginia and Department of Agriculture are digging into this. What people around the country don’t realize is the Salahis represent much worse than party crashing. They represent fraud.
