Ship of Fools: Tareq and Michaele Salahi Hoping to Host Cruise

If you enjoy cruising on the high seas, here’s something that may make you puke, and I’m not talking about sea sickness. No, I’m afraid a sacopolamine patch won’t cure your nausea. Tareq and Michale Salahi may be hosting a cruise. According to Paul Bedard’s Washington Whispers column in US News & World Report, the Salahi’s Australian agent Max Markson is pitching that idea, and the couple’s own reality TV show. Markson told Bedard, ”I have lots and lots of irons in the fire for a whole plethora of opportunities for them. It’s all part of their Austin Powers worldwide domination plan!” Worldwide domination? Heaven help us! We can only pray that pirates will make them walk the plank since the IRS and Virginia Department of Agriculture and and Consumer Service haven’t yet!

  1. This just shows how jealous u are. Haa! Get a hobby?

  2. One can only hope it is a near-shore cruise off the coast of Somalia.
On further reflection, Somali pirates probably wouldn’t want them either.

Yeah, I’m super jealous of them. I wish I could have $2.1 million in debt! Where did I go wrong in life? LOL

  4. Yeah Andrea Rodgers is jealous.

Andrea can’t even get a date, yet has a blog on how to have a love life.
Lauren you are right – she isn’t worth posting here but, her obsession with the Salahi’s is really scary. Yet she is trying to give advice to people.

    Work on yourself.

  5. If you actually read AskMissA.com, you would realize the bulk of content is advice on one’s love life.

The Salahi’s have shamed more than just themselves. They have given local philanthropy a terrible image and unfortunately it looks like the world will witness their misgivings as they exploit their 15 minutes of most shameful fame.

  7. How did their 30 seconds of fame last sooo long????
They do make a fun read in the Post though.
    Human slugs.

It doesn’t take a genius to get a date. It takes a bit more to have a quality relationship which I currently have with my boyfriend.

  9. Hey “Susan” a/k/a Michaele. Glad to see you can at least afford a computer and some internet access. Or are you using a public library?

  10. They give charity events a bad name. The majority of money raised should benefit the charity not the hosts.

  11. There is a long leap from “Hoping to host cruise” to actually doing it, so don’t hold your breath waiting. Keep the readers posted, but it probably will not happen.

  12. Good to see “Susan” AKA Michaele, Missy, Michelle, MIKE at it again. She has no other witty retort other than claiming ppl are Jealous and Obsessed. We’re all Jealous alright, not sure if its the Adams apple, the white girl hair weave, the long list of delusional LIES, having everything you own repo’d, having to resort to Threatening people with law suits once they’ve caught onto your scam, or using sick children to gain money to keep up the Illusion of status, when in fact you two are Dead broke.. really were you a model for Vogue? Why is it Vogue called you a liar? Redskins cheerleader were you?? On what planet? You continue to list sponsors on a page that have NO CLUE their affiliate with you, yet you continue to keep their logos up…Yes, I’m so jealous.. LOL

  13. Id love to see an article addressing Michaele Salahi’s Adams Apple, as I know of no medical condition/illness that would make any “female” aquire such a prominent male appendage. Hopefully Miss A will be so gracious to answer this question. Many are curious…

  14. A source confirmed Tuesday afternoon that Michaele Holt Salahi did, in fact, attend King’s, but only took one course at the Catholic college, and did not graduate.

Holt’s and Salahi’s engagement announcement indicates Holt graduated from a King’s College, but didn’t specify where.

According to the announcement in Washington Magazine, Holt and Salahi were married on Oct. 5, 2002, in St. Matthew’s Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

The announcement says Michaele is the daughter of Howard and Rosemary Holt of Fairfax, Va., a graduate of King’s College, and professional model who has appeared in magazines including VOGUE, InStyle and Modern Bride, as well as several appearances on television and print ads, including MTV, Chanel and Saks Fifth Avenue.
