Lizzy Walker Conroy, Lead Associate Agent for the Huckaby Briscoe Group, Keller Williams Realty announced today that she is hosting a fundraising event to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on Wednesday, March 10th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Restaurant 3 in Arlington, Virginia. Featuring hors d’oeuvres and wines of Barboursville Vineyards, compliments of Richard Moroscak, 1st Commonwealth Bank of Virginia and Helen Krause, Dominion Title Corporation, this happy hour is sure to be a treat for wine lovers and philanthropists alike.

Lizzy is the 2005 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society National Woman of the Year, having raised $146,000 in just a few short weeks as part of the Society’s Man & Woman of the Year fundraising competition. She currently serves on the Society’s Board of Trustees, and Leadership Committee for the Man & Woman of the Year campaign, which raises over $900,000 annually. Mrs. Conroy has been involved with the Society for many years, in memory of her mother-in-law who passed away in 2000 from leukemia.
