Sylene’s December Bras & Brunch: Cyla Weiner on Shapewear and Solutions

On Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Sylene of Washington, the premiere location for lingerie and swimwear in the Washington area, will hold their monthly event — Bras & Brunch, which will be equal parts fun and educational. The event will feature Cyla Weiner, who will share Red Carpet tips on shapewear and other solutions so that you can look your best this holiday season. She’ll show you how to Tighten your Tummy, Trim your Thighs, Whittle your Waist, Banish your Back Fat, Define your Derriere, Control your Hips or Shape you all over! She has just the right pieces to work miracles under any holiday outfit. Cyla will answer all your questions about what is best to go under anything in your closet. Whether that dress got slightly snug since last year, or you need a special bra for that backless dress. If you having trouble finding the right undergarment for a particular item of clothing, bring it to Bras & Brunch with you. If you stump the Bra Lady and she can’t find the right shapewear or bra to work with your item of clothing, you’ll receive a $100 gift certificate.

Attendees who make a donation to this month’s charity partner, Suited for Change, will be entered to win a special door prize, and 20% off any shapewear purchased at the event. Our charity partner for December will be Suited for Change.

They regularly visit hospitals, educating them on mastectomy items available for their patients.

Suited for Change

Founded in 1992, Suited for Change is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization which provides professional clothing and ongoing career and life skills education to low-income women to increase their employment and job retention potential and to contribute to their economic independence. Our services are available at no charge and by referral only to low-income women who have completed job readiness programs and are seeking employment.
