I think all your readers should file a suit in small claims against them, for “loss of enjoyment” or some other crap … Since Tariq apparently loves to abuse the legal system, let’s see how he likes defending (or defaulting on) a few thousand lawsuits …

Dont be scared of them. They have no money, only debt. They are bankrupt. But youre right, in the end you dont have to be on any news show to make a point. They will, in the end, destroy them selves.

You are exactly right about Tareq threatening others with lawsuits when he’s got his back is against the wall. I was once threatened by him and his attorney after informing Tareq that I’d no longer be working for him.

At the time, I was 22 years old and working as his Captain on the Oasis Celebration. I worked NON STOP for very little and sometimes nothing. Reimbursement was not in his vocab… neither was thank you. After 4 years of dealing with him, I called it quits. Shortly after calling it quits, his attorney was chasing me down. They were suing me because there were boat charters lined up and there was no captain to run them. Tareq said that I had signed contracts stating that I’d run them all and that I was not living up to my end of the agreement. He also said that I owed him some money. Of course he couldn’t produce the signed contracts (because I never signed them) and he decided to back off when my attorney approached him with all of the unpaid work and reimbursements that was owed to me.

All in all, it was a very strange 4 years. He always thought people were out for him. He sued his business partners, friends, and family. He hired an ex navy seal as security (to protect him from everyone that he sued, I guess). He used to flash some badge– he told everyone that he was a Sheriffs Deputy. And the best of the best…. He had Michaele detained by the police on their wedding day because of a credit card charge. LOOOPY!

Anyway, I just wanted to share a little bit of the Salahi madness that I know about.

If Bravo casts this woman on its DC Housewives show I will be appalled. “Sense of entitlement and delusions of grandeur is spot on.” This kind of behavior should not be encouraged or rewarded with additional attention, at least not the sort that comes with being the star of a reality show. The only attention these folks should get is from the Secret Service.

Does anyone believe that the Salahi’s will not be charged? The White House and their Secret Service have been disgraced. For that, there’ll be hell to pay. If they WH doesn’t get them on the gate crashing, they’ll go after them using more discreet methods such as the IRS. BTW, does a real man report to the police that his own mother hit him? What’s he trying to do? Get child abuse charges against his own mother? He’s physically too old for that.

You nailed it there. Unfortunately news this kind of stuff is that appeals in modern America and it quickly gains traction on the social networks. It’s like a bad car wreck – you say you don’t want to look but you stop and stare anyway. Personally the only headline I would like to see is Couple Hauled To Jail.

…to have Bravo and the Salahi’s disrespect President and Mrs. Obama…

Not to mention the country of India. While this may be looked upon as funny, a joke, or even as heroic by those who mentally reside in the lowest common denominator of our society, other cultures do not look at such thins so lightly. This story has made the rounds to many Indian news outlets, and it’s really only a matter of time before there is some backlash from a traditionalist viewpoint. And I wouldn’t blame them one bit. This action embarrasses me as a citizen.
