Very true on the self-confidence! It's very sexy in men and women. Intelligence and sense of humor are also sexy in my opinion. Thanks so much, Nichole.

I absolutely love this post Andrea! You're so right! Makeup can truly be defined as an artistic expression of self in so many different ways. I love playing with makeup and have since I was old enough to reach my mom's vanity. We do get judged on how we look, regardless if we are willing to admit it or not. Afterall, first impressions are made before one even begins to speak. And, although I think media has played a large role in our perceptions of others' appearances, we ourselves, are our own worst critics. The fact is, when you feel sexy, you look sexy.

My only counter-argument would be how you, yourself, define beauty. You are saying that you pay a price for it - the right diet, exercise, hair, etc. I can understand and agree but I also think what goes missing in this post is confidence - something you may not have to pay for. I know women who aren't as thin as rails but their confidence is so alluring, men trip over themselves. At some point, you have to be confident and comfortable with who you are and that = sexy! Just my two cents :-)
