Crowdsourcing Logo and Tagline for Socialite Marketing
My colors for Socialite Marketing will be brown and red, as opposed to brown and pink, as I have on AskMissA.com. I ran across this image in iStockphoto.com,which is the internet’s original crowdsourced image and design stock photography source.
I thought why not crowdsource my logo and tagline. I adore this image as I feel it does capture my brand. The flipped hair. The hand-on-hip. The smoking gun which represents some of the drama I have encountered, or perhaps created. It really does seem pretty damn perfect. Being a real life Bond Girl has always been my fantasy job, and in truth, I am a really good shot. This image definitely has Bond Girl written all over it. Let me know what you think of something along these lines. Obviously, this image won’t be my actual logo, but it has inspired what will be my logo. I will also need a tagline, perhaps something about being on target or shooting straight. I know it’s a bit over-the-top, but so am I. I think I can pull it off.

Be careful to choose trademarks (names, logos, or slogans) that are available for you to use and/or protect. If you are crowdsourcing, be sure someone hasn’t already filed an Application on the tagline or logo (essentially blocking you from using it). Let me know if you need help in a clearance search on any of the final choices. You also may want something in writing assigning rights if someone else came up with the logo or slogan for you.
