Saving Green This St. Patrick’s Day And Hoping For The Luck Of The Irish On Friday!

If you’re like me you are completely overscheduled with no time left for shopping — unless it’s online. One of my new clients, Simply Soles is offering 20% off their amazing selection of green shoes today for St. Patrick’s Day, and green is a big color this spring!

You all may not be familiar with Peter Shankman, the Web 2.0 genius who created HARO (Help A Reporter Out) where reporters can send out calls for people and information for stories on which they are working. This is also great for those in PR, as you can see who may be writing a story which might relate to a client. Anyhow, here’s where you come in. Around Christmas last year, Peter Shankman tried to get rid of a bunch of cool products which had been sent to him for PR and marketing purposes, so he hosted a trivia contest via Twitter. It was a big hit with Tweeple.

Well, this Friday he plans to do the same thing, and Simply Soles has given him something fabulous to give away. I’m not into trivia, but I know some people get into that. So if you are a trivia person, sign up for a Twitter account, follow @skydiver, play along and hopefully you’ll win some prizes! If you’re unsure about getting on Twitter, my friend Pamela Sorensen finally broke down and joined just the other day! So it seems everyone is following the trend. Don’t get left behind!

Let me know if you win something cool! And don’t miss out on 20% off today at Simply Soles!
