I bet that there are actually two sides to this story, and we are only hearing her side of it, from her point of view, because she needs to tell other people that she is right to make herself feel good. If she were really a friend to this person, she would have attempted to have more open communications with the friend, rather than implying the friend has all these problems and has done her wrong.
