Valentine’s Day Gifts For Men

Dear Miss A,

I have been seriously dating a fabulous guy for over a month now.  He truly is a remarkable and special person to me.  I know we haven’t been together for a large amount of time, but I feel very serious about him and the future of our relationship.  As Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, what is an appropriate gift for a girl to give a guy under these such conditions?  Most of my past V-day relationships haven’t been this serious so I don’t know what the protocol is.

Thank you!

Falling Hard

Dear Falling Hard,

Thank you so much for your question! I think early in a committed relationship it’s too soon to do expensive cuff links, or other more serious gifts. I think The Grooming Lounge is a great place to shop for the special guy in your life. If you’re not familiar with The Grooming Lounge, it’s a spa for men. You can get your guy a gift card for the classic Hot Lather Shave, hair cut or massage. Or perhaps, he hasn’t paid enough attention to his unibrow, or his toe nails, so you can get him a package that includes a wax and pedicure. The Grooming Lounge is very masculine and just for men, so don’t worry that he’ll feel like a fish out of water. They also have an amazing gift selection for men, such as Jack Spade leather goods, boxers, and men’s home fragrance ideas, and of course product gift sets.

Ask Miss A readers will receive a 10% discount whether they shop online or go into one of the two convenient locations –18th & L Streets downtown, and the Upper Level of Tyson’s Galleria. Just enter “missa” for the Promo Code or mention Ask Miss A when you schedule the service, or walk in!

Hope this helps!

- Miss A
