D.C. Relationship Writers Host Dating Discussion Event

I am excited to announce that I’ve rounded up my author friends to participate in a unique and fun event at Lotus Lounge on February 4th. The authors are Cathy Alter who wrote Up For Renewal: What Magazines Taught Me About Love, Sex, And Starting Over, Jess McCann who wrote You Lost Him At Hello, and Kerry Reichs who wrote The Best Day Of Someone Else’s Life. Kerry is the daughter of the Kathy Reichs, Forensic Anthropologist, New York Times Best Selling Author, and Executive Producer of Bones.

The happy hour starts at 5pm, so come right after work. During the happy hour folks will be able to write anonymous questions for the Relationship writers to answer. We will also take questions via email, so just send questions in to missa@askmissa.com.  Around 7pm, I will introduce each author who will talk a bit about her book, and then we will get into a discussion on dating and relationships. It will be a talk show type format, and will be hilarious, I’m sure. Afterward, there will be a book signing and books for sale through Barnes & Noble. P.I.N.K. vodka will hand out drink samples, and there will be drink and sushi specials. SyLene lingerie has provided a gift certificate which will be given away!

Please check my “Social Calendar” page for other upcoming Valentine’s Day events!
