Cathy Alter Book Signing at Ginger Boutique

Back in November, I interviewed Cathy Alter about her book Up For Renewal: What Magazines Taught Me About Love, Sex, And Starting Over. If you haven’t read the book, it’s about how Cathy improved her life, which was completely out-of-control to the point she was having sex….at the office….during the day…. ….in a cubicle. As I read that part, I thought having sex at the office is one thing. Not necessarily the best thing to do, but at night without anyone there behind a locked door in a committed relationship…perhaps. But during the work day! In a cubicle! She wrote this in a book! And her mother has probably read the book!I was shocked to say the least. Let’s just say that isn’t the only racy part of the book, which is ROTFLMAO funny!

So, you have to read the book, so you’ll have to buy it, right? Well, come to Ginger at Bethesda Row, which if you haven’t been there, it’s just too cute. I can’t believe how great Bethesda has become since my days working there 10 years ago! Come buy an autographed book from Cathy on Thursday, January 8th from 6-8pm! She’s a riot – you’ll love her.

Hope to see you there!
