Park Avenue Meets Bethesda Row

Please join me THIS FRIDAY, December 12th from 6:00 – 8:30pm at URBAN CHIC at Bethesda Row to meet the author of Gilding Lily, Tatiana Boncompagni! According to Park Avenue Peerage, “Her novel about an “It” girl’s approach to motherhood…The book follows the exploits of the fictional Lily Bartholomew, a girl from the South who marries into a prominent, old money New York family. Lily, once an “It” girl, loses it all when she loses her figure but carves her own niche in the bon ton again as a lifestyle and fashion reporter.”

Tatiana Boncompagni is a Manhattan-based freelancer for The New York Times Sunday Styles section and the Financial Times Style & Shopping pages. Her writing has also appeared in Vogue, and InStyle. She has a Washington, DC connection having been a top-ten graduate from Georgetown University’s prestigious School of Foreign Service, and having been a reporter for Legal Times (which graciously sponsored The Courage Cup’s polo fundraiser last year!). Tatiana probably never has to vacuum considering that she’s married to fellow Georgetown grad, Maximilian Hoover (of the vacuum cleaner Hoovers). She lives in New York City with her husband and two children. She is friends with Fabiola Beracasa and Tinsley Mortimer, who hosted her book launch in NYC.

If meeting Tatiana isn’t enough for you or if you still having some holiday shopping to finish, The Holiday Open House at Bethesda Row will also feature: Carriage Rides, Carolers and Exclusive Events Throughout the Row! Save 50% at Ginger storewide (25% off jewelry), and enjoy cocktails and treats! AVEDA will give complimentary makeup and neck & shoulder massages. There will also be treats and sales at Le Cruset, LouLou, Bella Italia, City Sports, Cafe Deluxe and many more!

Visit www.bethesdarow.com for more details!

I hope to see you there!
