Miss A Events This Week

Andrea Rodgers, Constance Christakos (President of the Junior League of Washington 2003-04), Deborah Sigmund (President of Innocents at Risk), and Robert Foster at Lotus Lounge.

I want to thank everyone who came out to Lotus Lounge for my Holiday Happy Hour and 5th Annual Ladies Gift Exchange Dinner!  The happy hour started at 5pm, and I was happy to see a former co-worker who stopped by to say ‘hi’. I also got to see my favorite football coach, Coach Chris Galloway who played for UVA back in the day, and coached Team Blonde in Blondes vs. Brunettes from 2005 – 2007. Unfortunately, Team Blonde has never won a game, but it’s not for a lack of strong coaching!

Later on, some of my girlfriends and I sat down for champagne and a delicious dinner in a private room about 7:30pm. The gift exchange is always a lot of fun, as those who draw a higher number get to steal gifts that have already been opened. Sometimes the ladies cheat by feeling up the gifts up to determine which they should select.

For those who weren’t able to make it out on Tuesday night, I hope you’ll join me and Kate Marie Grinold, Miss DC 2008 for our p.i.n.k. Christmas Party at the newly opened Midtown benefiting Children’s Miracle Network. The event is from 8 – 11pm, and will feature p.i.n.k. vodka drink specials, my best of all music by my favorite DJ Seyhan Duru! Just wear your pink and make a $10 donation to Children’s Miracle Network at the door. Pink boas and tiaras encouraged!
