DC Girls In The Know
Julie O’Brien and Chris Jacobs, founders of DC Girls In The Know, taken by Tony Powell
If you’re like me and enjoy the finer things in life, yet try to be smart with each dollar you spend, you’ll want to know about a little secret. And in this economy, who isn’t looking to save some money! My secret is DC Girls In The Know, which was founded by Julie O’Brien and my friend and fellow Oscar Night DC committee member, Chris Jacobs.
How does it work? First of all, you need to join their exclusive list. One thing I love, is that you aren’t bombarded with emails – they only send you a newsletter via email twice a month to let you know what the monthly specials are. DC Girls In The Know has worked with such great upscale businesses as Hela Spa, Dessange Paris of Tyson’s Corner, and M Cafe to create exlusive offers which aren’t available anywhere else. Once you’ve found an offer you’re interested in, all you do is purchase it on the DC Girls In The Know website. They will send you a voucher for your purchase with a special transaction code, or an order confirmation for in the case of an item being shipped to you. When you call the vendor to book your services, or pick up your product, the vendor will reference your name and transaction code on a list they provide them to verify that you have paid. It’s super easy!
I highly recommend you join DC Girls In The Know, so that you can get their exclusive newsletter and start taking advantage of the great deals they have negotiated. To get on the list and see the list of current deals, go to www.dcgirlsintheknow.com.
