In Search of Salon

I just started reading your blog and I think you are fabulous!  You give great advice and you support many important causes, which I admire greatly.  You go girl!
 
I have a random question for you.  I am relatively new to the DC area and I am experiencing the dilema of not having a great hair stylist/colorist in the area.  So my question to you is…do you have a personal hair salon/particular stylist you can recommend?  I would appreciate your help!  I ask you this as your hair always looks perfect!

I highly recommend you make an appointment with my friend, Maggie Sprague. From making Miss DC, Kate Marie Grinold look fabulous for her appearances, to making me look like Marilyn Monroe, Maggie has incredible talent! You’ll love her. She is so sweet and so much fun, and very skilled at cutting and coloring hair!

I wrote an article about her a few weeks ago. Maggie has a studio at Lux Studios, 4711 Montgomery Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814. I think Lux is a really cool concept. Basically, it’s a salon where colorists/stylists can rent space and have their own studio, so you have a bunch of mini salons inside one large space. You can schedule an appointment with Maggie by calling the receptionist at Lux at (301) 907-6810. Her prices are very reasonable, so that’s a great benefit, too.
